I am Ermes Ramella and I live in Sestri Levante, in italy.
Although my real job has always been the chef,
since I was young, i like to build objects and try to learn ancient manual crafts.
Over the years, as a hobby I learned how to work with wood, how to weld iron and build some table, furniture and lamps.
For some years now, completely self-taught, in free time, I study the jewelry making process and techniques from different parts of the world.
Like the traditional japanese irogane alloys and their patinations; the traditional colombian mompox filigree; the mexican silversmithing, the moroccan tuareg one or the indonesian goldsmithing.
Admiring its ability to build, just with simple tool, wonderful
timeless jewels.
